Our School-Connect Institute prepares high school educators to present School-Connect lessons to their students and prepares facilitators to present teacher training in their school or district.  The institute offers the following training options:

Training Option #1 – Teacher Training (1 day) Teacher training directly prepares participants to present School-Connect lessons and helps to promote teacher confidence, enthusiasm, and commitment to program goals. The training provides an overview of curriculum concepts and strategies, practice in facilitating student-driven discussions and activities, and links to academic integration. Cost: $195/person. Note: Participants should own School-Connect, Modules 1-4 curriculum ($299) or purchase it when they register for training.

Training Option #2 – Trainer Training (1.5 days) Trainer Training includes the one-day teacher training and another half day to learn how to provide School-Connect training and support in their school or district. Participants receive a Trainer’s Toolkit, which includes the Training Power Point, a short presentation Power Point, a CD-R of training handouts, and information on implementation. Cost: $295/person. School or district teams of two or more receive a 10% discount on Trainer Training.
